High Pressure Reaction Vessels: 3L, 4L

These high pressure reaction vessels are constructed of special stainless steel and have removable PTFE Teflon® liners.
All fittings (manifold, pressure gauge, rupture disk, and regulating valve) are also made of stainless steel. Hastelloy C is available on special order. Rapid closure of the conical flange seal is achieved with two hand screws- no tools are required.
A complete system includes a heating mantle with thermocouple, a stirring assembly controller, and a laboratory cart.
Stirring Assembly The stirring assembly on the 3L and 4L high pressure reaction vessels is inductively driven. The stirring assembly consists of a PTFE coated magnetic rotor mounted on a hollow PTFE stirring shaft with wings. The separate controller unit indicates rpm and controls stirring speed.
Optional Equipment Sample extraction devices are available for sampling either liquids or gases during the reaction without disassembling the reaction vessel.
Fittings are available in Hastelloy C instead of stainless steel for increased resistance to corrosion.
